You can upload images up to 12 Mb, and the originals of the images are stored on the servers, so it is a good place to just store them too – you need not share them if you do not want to : threre are several privacy modes which you can assign to either albums or photos. The albums can be organized in categories and a category can always be in another, so you can finally to really organize your photos the way you want to.

There is much to be written about it, but why read, when you can try it out yourself?

(Thanks to Xilun in the comments for suggesting this one!)

I have used a few of the above. Flickr and Photobucket charge for premium service so I deleted my accounts for both. On Photobucket you can hotlink, but my images were not coming up when I reached a certain bandwidth limit for the day.

I use now. Flickr would be great if they didn’t li,it the amount of pictures you can store….I think it is only 100 or so which is weak sauce.

Another free photo sharing site is http://www.theeasyview.com
The best thing I like about the site is its privacy settings. It is a free service and very simple to use. I don’t need any fancy features which only confuses people most of the time anyway.
